Senior Flash Developer, NYC
My client is looking for talented, energetic and enthusiastic individuals who aspire to be leaders in the software development industry. They are seeking a talented Flash developer for a full-time position who desires to create customer facing applications for the media and entertainment industries.
The qualified applicant will show high aptitude in the following areas, but not limited to:
1. Expert knowledge of OOP with AS2.
2. Expert knowledge of integrating flash with server technologies (must be able to read/write an XML document without having to convert it into Objects first).
3. Must be able to write clean and re-usable code and use existing code in packages when available.
4. Good understanding of mathematics as it applies to computer graphics (vectors, matrix, etc).
5. Must have good understanding of how flash renders graphics (should know what pixel fonts are and how to use them correctly).
6. Familiar with speed and size optimization in flash.
7. Others: XML, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS.
8. Design skills a plus but not necessary.
This position is full time and on-site in New York City. Candidates must be tri-state (NY, NJ, CT) residents and be authorized to work in the USA (Citizen/GC holder)
