adding actionscript to my scrolling text buttons

Hi,

I have tried MANY times to create a scrolling text box using the tutorial on this site, I am able to edit the object actions for the text box, but not the buttons...it just won't let me (even when I select expert mode from the object actions box)....what am I doing wrong? Can anyone help?

Is it that you cant see the code or you can see it but cant edit it?

it just wont let me edit the object actions in expert mode for the buttons...i click in the edit box, but i get no flashing cursor...wont allow me to paste, type or anything in the box...do you see what i'm saying?

Well, not sure about this but have u put all of your work in on movieclip?? If so, then go to the edit mode and chose your buttons.... else also if u did that to the buttons .

also, check that the layer is not locked in the timeline.

Zip it using winzip and if its under 100 kb, u can attach it in a post.
