TextArea and line breaks

If I use ordinary text, not HTML, in a mx:TextArea UI Component, what's the trick to breaking the line? I tried the \n and \r with no joy at all and a few other tricks. There has to be a secret handshake on this one...

Ah, okay, thanks very much. I guess I'll use HTML until it's fixed. I was using text so I could allow the user to change the font size, but that's a minor issue.
