which logo is better !?

hi all, well i m not a designer as i said in other threads but i was trying to learn somthing about it so i follow a tutorial at http://www.kirupa.com/motiongraphics/3dlogos.htm
and i made 2 different color to the same logo, just wanna see your opinion , Advices are Totally welcomed :)

Ditto means, he agrees with Eric. As for me, personally, I dont think the problem is the colors, but the logo itself. It just looks stretched and distorted.

i think your right, thanks Cota, the design is bad right ? it's missing something..
do u propose start over from the begining with new look of the logo or try to fix this out

It depends...if thats the logo design you want, then improve upon it..if not, start over.

Cota has a pretty good eye for these things. Take his word for it! I don't see anything wrong with either one really, and i don't even see the distortion, but I trust Cota's opinion on it. Try to improve what you got and post the new examples for us to look at.

I followed that tutorial, and mine turned out like crap. I'm just not made for graphics. Math is my thing. :o Good job on both! and keep working at it.

If you look at it, all the curved edges are blurry and there is some noise on the high to dark transitions.

you have an eagle Eyes :) about the blur thing i ve made a guaussian blur 0.5to remove the distortion on the edges, and about the distortion on the dark transition i m trying to fix them up i ll upload the new one as soon as possible

ok guys i ve did a new one by following another tut. for the bg , and i did'nt apply any blur effects also tried to get rid of the distortion i hope it's better
