Handwritten

Looking for a way of getting an effect of writing appearing as if it is being hand written. I have currently broke apart the graphic and worked backwards along the timeline, deleting as I go, but am conscious of this increasing file size.

Any suggestions for an alternative would be greatly appreciated.

Instead of breaking it apart you could use a mask and unveil the writing along it's lines, thus giving the illusion of it being handwritten.

I saw a tutorial on this or maybe it was a case file, but they did it like that. I remember they said that it was best to use a crescent moon shape and then duplicate this along the lines. I think it was on the Macromedi site, but it was 3 or 4 years ago.
