removeMovieClip? (modifying beginner tutorial 28)

Okay, by following the AttachMovie tutorial I've managed to get a movie clip to play when I roll over a button. However, I want that clip to disappear after I move the mouse off the button. The tutorial only says "Use the removeMovieClip or unloadMovie action or method to remove a movie attached with attachMovie or just attach an empty MC."

I've tried all three of these ways, and nothing works, so obviously I'm doing something wrong. What's the best way to unload a movie clip and how would I do it?
