Just a question, i don't know whether its possible or not, or just pretty hard (and i'm not an expert, so one is as bad as the other for me), but what i want to do is find a way, when i move the cursor around my application, of creating a 'burn' effect on it, that sort of follows the cursor around (i've made a custom cursor in a sort of firebally type look), leave a trail for a little while and then have it fade or something, to put it very simply.
Harder (at least i think), i would also like (seperately from this, i guess), some way so when the cursor goes around the screen, there is some sort of small distortion effect, like the haze you get from looking at a fire, nothing exact or anything, just that sort of thing, which makes the background items look like they are being affected by the cursor or something.
