php email sorting to excel file?

My flash contact page calls a php script to send an email to a certain user when that user fills out a form in flash and hits send.

My client just asked if all those emails he gets from this form can get sorted into an excel spreadsheet so it's easier for him to keep track. I have no idea where to start on this. I'm sure it can be done. Does anybody have any leads to where I could find this info or help me out if they've done something like this before?

Don't really get you. BTW, why need the custom sorting when microsoft overlook can do that for you?

didn't know overlook could insert them all into an excel file. will look into that.
