Good luck, Michael... I am sure you will ace the position with no problem... ;)

Tell them to add the patch for the EOLAS stuff on the website when you get there... ;)

Michael will do fine..He's got a tight resume and the knowledge to back it up. He worries too much.

Flash Gordon

Did you hear my joke about the chicken and the egg? For those that might have forget keep reading:

A chicken and an egg are laying in bed. The chicken rolls over and lights up a cigarette and says, "Phew...Well now that we solved that question, want to go get breakfast?"

:p

Any suggestions on what I should take with me?

_Michael

An old Tandy 1000 by IBM :p

That was even before your time. It ran on MS-DOS and didn't have a HDD. I used to have to swap 3 or 4 disk just to make banners and print off documents.

Acutally...I have no idea...I'll shut up and let Cota acutally give you some good advice.

Bring at least 2 copies of your resume.

MichaelxxOA

What do you suggest as far as work examples?

_Michael

Cota

Throw together a sample "site" or something that has working demo's of your stuff. Bring it on CD with you.

Someone else asked this question once and my suggestion was if you can't show them online buy a small HDD (one of those PNY 512 MB ) and install xampp (or whatever you like) and now you can run PHP from the localhost on the flash drive. Also, you could simply take a laptop if you have one.

MichaelxxOA

meh... neither are an option lol.. I'm poor :(

I do have a bitchin computer :) YEAH!!

But it's heavy and not example something you take to an interview ;).

I could only assume that they will have internet acces since it is a "internet" job. You may want to call them and ask if there is anything they would like you to bring. Seems like your best bet.

It probably goes without saying, but I'd dress up--jacket and tie--and take out any piercing if you have any.

You make sure you let us know what you hear Monday. We're all pulling for you Michael and wishing you the best!

You don't always have a luxury to show what's out there if you go into an interview because of so many reasons...

Your best bet is to put things together and show it to them over the USB drive or at least print out what you have and show your code samples/design...(256MB one costs about $30 at the BestBuy... Think of it as an investment... ;))
This way, you know exactly what you want to talk about and it's whole lot easier to sell youself that way...

As for the clothing... I always go to the place one day early and see how people dress up and just follow the most extreme case and it worked okay... But suit(or khakis pants plus Blazer at least) works all the time...

Good luck... ;)

Cota

Wear a suit...its easier for them to imagine you dressed down, than dressed up.

256MB one costs about $30 at the BestBuy... Think of it as an investment... ;))This week in our local Staples store a 2.0 Gig USB drive (one of those small skinny ones) cost $40! Perhaps the deal is online too!

EDIT: OOpppss. I looked it up and it is $40 off, and not $40 total. Sorry :o

It's today... bleh... I let my nerves get to me to much!!! :P

Anyway, thanks guys, wish me luck. I have a feeling the only thing I'll have to worry about is my age, hopefully all goes well though.
