I think that is better to say that senocular got the new job and him is very busy... working, working, working... than think that maybe he was killed. ;)

Yes, I was killed. I'm playing God in Texas Holdem to gamble for my life back. So far he's winning. I should have seen that coming...

Texas hold'em...now you're talking...if you're the short stack jump your happy little ass all in before the flop and double yourself up.

Maybe Incrue is feeling a bit lonely without Senocular ...

*Imagines a lonesome, single dweller travelling from one desserted place to the other only crying out "Senocular ! Why?! Oh, why couldn't it have been me? Why you?" occasionally (also wondering what occasion that would be)

The sad part is we do, we really do. How was the move anyway?

senocular

:D

The move was fun. Still settling in. I have a feeling it will be a while still before Im completely settled, but its all good. When I have time, I'm trying to keep up with the forums, but I only get so much being so busy at work and all (and work is the only place I have internet).

The San Francisco Bay Area (I had a Bay back in MD, too, the Chesapeake Bay, I can't stoop to just calling the SF Bay just "the Bay") is pretty nice. I think more than anything the biggest change is just going from the country to the city. No more horses, cows, and corn fields. Now its tall buildings, crazy drivers, and crackheads dancing on the sidewalks. Plus my commute has also changed a lot. Though it still takes about an hour, Im no longer driving, Im walking, taking the train/subway (bart) and then a shuttle.

So far I've only been here a few weeks so I've only gotten to do so much. But there certainly seems like there is plenty to do, so I don't think I'll have to worry about that anytime soon, especially with all the work adobe has been throwing at me. :D

You're almost ready to take on NYC..the difference is that the crazy drivers and the dancing crackheads are one in the same.

Ive been in NYC a few times, but I can only take so much of it at a time. But now its too far to worry about :)

Perhaps having to "deal with it" is the problem in the first place... :)

Sen: never knew you got a job at Adobe, congrats! They're one of the top employers in any industry, says Forbes, so you should be enjoying yourself.

if you want cows and horses..... wander out to west marin counting (around tamales bay). its about 35 min out of sf and full of dairy farms and rolling hills.... and a great place to go to get outta the city.

senocular

tg: I noticed that it doesnt take much to get out of the city around here. Thats nice. You got the beach in one direction, mountains in another, dairy farms here, slaughter houses there. Its a blast.

Cota

Slaughter houses, yes....sounds a great place for a first date.

I actually live on the outsikirts of oakland. Its not so bad, at least not there. But just about anywhere you go its crazy. And car break ins are huge. Its not uncommon to see "Caution: high crime area" stenciled in on some wall warning you to not have anything visible in your car or risk a break in. Of course those geek gangs, they're the worst.

They're just like those people in the game "Typing of the Dead" with the gun-mounted keyboards that they use to type zombies to death.

So... Senocular left the MD and I had no chance of seeing him while he was nearby... That's sad...
But then, he finally found a company that will send him to the MAX... So, I guess I'll be seeing him there... :D

Hey, Cota... Didn't you said that you are leaving the NYC??? You still living there???

Cota
05-12-2006, 11:48 PM
I havent left NYC....my and the woman split up..So I'm staying in NYC...

CyanBlue
05-13-2006, 01:17 AM
Oh... Sorry to hear that... :(
So, the auto shop idea is in the thin air, I guess???

Cota
05-13-2006, 03:34 AM
Yeah..that idea went down the drain..couldnt get a business loan to get it launched. Women come and go...it just sucks for the kids...4 of them, though only 2 are biologically mine....things just werent working out...but my life is a lot better now that I know Seno isnt dead...:D

CyanBlue
05-13-2006, 03:38 AM
Yeah... I am sure things will be getting better for you since Seno is really really away from you... :D

Couldn't get a loan? That is weird. I'd figure anyone with an income and all the "Bush" tax breaks and instintives especially while interest rates were low it would have been easy.

Sorry to hear that man....:(

The further away guys like you and Seno are from me, the smarter I look...:p

Ruben

Hey Cota man, really really sorry to hear things didn't work out for you man, good luck and stuff..

As for looking intelligent, now that I am (semi-) back I guess that's just gotten a lot less difficult, right?

:p - Ruben
