For those who don't know Vilehelm and I met exchanging Flash chat, insults, banter and the odd bit of code on this very site. Vile eventually persuaded me to visit him in the States and my life changed forever. When he visited me in the UK for Christmas he proposed. It was only the second time we'd met in person, yet I just knew he was the one for me.
We decided to make our life in the US and after many months getting tangled in the mire that is the USCIS immigration system I was able to emigrate and we got married in December 2003.
Just popping on here now to let our old friends here know that last Thursday I gave birth to our first son, Samuel. Without this site he wouldn't be here now. We're so thrilled.
Again, congradulations. Though Vilehelm and I have never had the pleasure, the two of you are legend around here. Congrats and many healthy more.

No, but I've been changed myself often enough. ;) Then again, I don't recollect much of that time period.

top-banana!
I'm so happy for you both.
And can I just say 'well done Vile!' - living proof that copious amounts of drug-taking doesn't make you impotent after all ;)

Bah, didn't get any notifications of replies, anyway...
Mortay!!
Wow! Was just the other day wondering how you were doing. So, do tell!
Ricod - woo! good to see the "ex" bears no hard feelings. Give my love to Rico jr, Pinky jr and little Flashy. ;) Hehe you doing okay mate? still overseas gallivanting in Japan?
Jesse - Thanks for the sentiment. Thanks for creating this awesome site that made our little chap possible. :) Have you been on your exciting trip to Europe yet? Hope the Brits made you welcome and you had a great time if you have? Otherwise...bon voyage!
TG - oh yes, spot on there, sproglet has certainly created some vile nappies in his short time with us. Good job Sam's such a cutie else he'd be out on his ear.
xxx pinK
hmm...I'm missing pixelwit and red pengs? *cries* Are they in the woodwork somewhere?

pinkaboo! :] - Well I am still on the run from The Law (I should have kept off the grass when the sign told me to!) I have just moved back to Bath with my lovely girlfriend, who was formerly my housemate in Cambridge. She had the nicer room, so I had to ask her out; and I am about to start a new job - the first perm job in about 6 years, as there's not enough decent contract work this far from London to keep me going, and I want to settle in one place for a while. Bath is great - forgot how lovely it was.
I think we're all a little disappointed that you didn't call your first son General Chat, but Samuel is a lovely name so you are forgiven. When little Samuel is growing up, make sure he learns to spell "colour" with a "u" - strike one for the English! Woo ;)
Jesse - visiting England? If so you must come and visit us in Bath :]
If you'd like to, just send me an email, and if you need some persuading...
I live on this street (http://www.england-seiten.de/Fotos/Avon/large/Bath%20Strasse%203.jpg)(sorry for rainy pic, but the biggest I could find on GoogleImages!) which is 30 seconds walk from here (http://www.brodyaga.com/pages/viewlarge.php?id=2675)
and the city generally looks like this (http://www.brodyaga.ru/images/UK/Bath%201.jpg)
It would be great to meet up, and the beers are on me :)

@pinkaboo: No grudges here, but the little ones miss their mommy. They do think Sammy's very cute. :) Very happy for the three of you! :D
I'm still pursuing my goals, although I'm getting a bit sidetracked here lugging suitcases and dishes around (I'm doing my internship in a hotel, go figure).
Pixelwit and Red Pengie are MIA. I actually saw the 20 ton chipmunk the other day, but the visit was very brief. Oh, how do the winds of time change everything ... [glaring at the horizon, Sinatra in the background]
@Morty: Bath looks nice (and clean)! A bit wet though, but that's to be expected I guess. Sigh, how much more pun can one bear ...
