Project files (flp) and JSFL

Is there a way to create, adapt etc project files via JSFL?

I noticed it is actually just an xml file with a different extention, so I could go that way. But if an easier API is available ...

Yeah, look in the extending flash section of the help file at the Project and ProjectItem objects, and the Flash object has a bit as well, for creating/opening etc.
