i've just installed MySQL Server 5.0 free edition consisting of MySQL Command Line Client and MySQL Server Instance Config Wizard ..
i havent learnt it yet but is this all i will need to both have data inputted into my program saved and stored, base data i add ready to be used within my app and also have this data able to be accessed by the program? i will also need to use my program to manipulate and change some of this data via code at times, then save and lock it
it seems pretty light but from what i've read this is the way to go..
anyone else who creates apps for Flash with MySQL or even another way, is this recommended by you, and is there additional security and/or other stuff needed to get it running sweetly? Thanks :)
