Wanna see a short clip of my little pooch? HERE (*)
It did it rather fast and still working the bugs out of it and you need a fast connection (or pause the video and let if buffer).

But to my main question, I got 6 or so little DVD (30 minutes each) of my dogs. Does anybody know a good, cheap way to combine these to a large DVD with maybe a menu? Any tuts, links, thoughs, or opinions are welcome.

:)

Can't really explain how to join movies together, I just use windows movie maker to cut out commercials from recordings I make with my TV tuner. Windows Movie Maker would work for the basic editing I guess.

As for menus, I'd go with Nero StartSmart, I've made several DVD movies +menus with it. However, I wouldn't recommend it if you want to do some really advanced menus, seems like it's just meant for the "average joe" type of menu creation. For example, I haven't been able to change the buttons which change the chapter menu pages, I'm pretty much stuck with some ugly green left and right arrow buttons...oh well.

M$ Movie Maker, huh? I could ever "join" or link the .VOB files. I'll have to play around with that some more.

Thanks Eric!

AHHH... this is the site i was looking for earlier....

it will tell you anything and everything about digital video...

http://www.doom9.org/

also there are plenty of shareware/freeware pieces of software that will splice together video files...

a common software for dvd file creation is virtualdub. this site will have explanations, links downloads and toots for what you need.

I just use windows movie maker to...Unfortunately, Windows Movie Maker doesn't support .VOB files, the standard DVD format files. Id have to change the file type

I'm still looking, I'll let you all know if I find a good way.

And yes....those little guys...my uncle calls them white devils. They play with each other from sun up to sun down. Their a lot of fun and a joy. :)
