... or don't install anything (specially not IE skins like Maxthon) and use FF just like any sane person would do, then Tools / Page Info, jump to the 'Media' tab - find the flash file you need -> Save as...

btw. what's the point of this topic? I really don't know of anyone who doesn't know how to do this...

Definitely an ad, but just hoped the guy will response to explain why it's great to use application for catching .swfs (eek) and Maxton (double eek), when you have perfectly implemented and a working solution within FF straight out of the box.

I quite enjoy watching people defending the undefendable, makes me remember the best statement ever pronounced by a human: Only two things are infinite, the Universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. (Albert Einstein)

Yeah. :)
I'm a "view source" guy myself, but I'll check out the FF thing now. I wonder how well any of those "automatic" download methods work against swf loaders and HTML variable-passing-dependent swf's.
I don't think these one-off spammers respond much. And when they do, they squirm with excuses like "No, I just thought it was so cool you'd guys would want to know about it."
