Smaller file size!

I made a movie in after effects for a website i'm working on. I exported it as a quicktime movie and it was 190 mb. I then proceeded to convert it to a animated gif and import it into flash, now it is 19 mb but it is still too big and takes alot of time to load. Is there a way that in flash I can optimize the file or reduce the file size without comprimising too much quality?

Also I think u should split your work into a smaller swv and load them to the main

Thanks alot, ill work on reducing the size. At the preloader works though!
