Flash Developer/Designer, Las Vegas, NV | Relo OK
My Las Vegas client is the premier leisure, lifestyle marketing agency providing strategic branding and retail expertise to big name companies throughout the United States. They offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits and a fast-paced, fun work environment.
This position requires a broad knowledge of the capabilities and limitations of Flash and Integrating Flash with other web technologies. Extensive experience in translating design layouts into optimized interactive experiences including web sites, web applications, e-mails, online media (banners) or microsites is a must. Experience with graphic production, flash motion development (layout transitions and programmatic motion) and XML integration is critical. This position will require collaborative work with skilled creative and development teams (must be organized with PSD's and FLAs). Must have ability to see beyond the immediate task, keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
Role:
* Converts Photoshop and Illustrator files to working HTML and Flash concepts, visual prototypes and motion demos to create the look and layout of the interface
* Responsible for light interface or creative design (Design opportunities may be expanded for design savvy candidates)
* Expertly build web sites and applications using Flash (ActionScript) HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript
Required Skills / Attributes:
* An in-depth understanding of Adobe CS and Macromedia Studio MX
* Can demonstrate efficient Flash coding, optimization and production processes
* Must be proficient in HTML production processes (layout slicing, Dreamweaver templates, etc)
* Knowledge of online usability best practices
* Organization, efficiency, responsible and personable
* Multi-task and work independently
* Refined communication skills
* 2-3 years of professional experience are required, interactive agency experience is preferred.
This is not an entry-level position. They require an intermediate to senior level Flash Developer/Designer. My client will cover relocation expenses.
To be considered for this position, candidates:
* MUST be a US Citizen or GC holder.
* MUST work on-site at my clients Las Vegas, NV office.
