hello! I need some help in translating an old, (I believe deprecated) expression, any help would be loved! Thanks!
this._y -= (this._y-../:_ymouse)/10;
This script uses and old expression to compare the two values this._y and _ymouse ... what was ../: replaced with in Flash 6? Would it be !=
Again, thanks in advance!

/ is root, ../ is parent, just like folder notation

Sen....Thank you very monkey! Good to see your still loyal to these boards! It's been quite sometime now, eh!?
So again, thank you. I thought that was the translation, but wasn't sure....so then, what would the additional ":" be used for? As in "../:"? _parent: ???
Thanks mang!

;)
: is used when you are accessing a property. So what you get is
path/path/path/:property. Both / and : have pretty much gone the way of the dot (.) now.
