flash web site swf file size...whats too big?

when does a swf get too big? what are the limits?

not sure what you mean by this !

it's adwisible to have a preloader if it's biger then 50Kb-200Kb

but this is also depending on your target publicum

if it's expilicitly sad that it's for highband only i woud not nececarily expect a preloader even by a file size of 1Mb

but by modem it can sometimes 50Kb takes to long if no thing on screen
