I feel ridiculous. I cannot get a preloader to work for the life of me in either MX2004 or flash 8.
I've used code blocks that I've created and that I've found on AS.org and other places...The problem I'm experiencing is that getBytesLoaded and getBytesTotal are returning the same value and thusly produce a 100% reading right off the bat. So it doesn't load correctly.
I've posted this same post before...and no one was able to give me an answer that worked...If anyone knows what is up with this...please let me know. Thanks.
