Hi there everybody! I am from South Africa & have just recently joined ActionScript.Org!
Im a noob 2 flash. i currently have created a flash header with the menu buttons being pictures....like a pic of a house 4 HOME, a phone 4 CONTACT, etc...
below the picture menu buttons, i would like 2 display the sublinks associated with that menu button from a text file (in case i need 2 update it). i know how to do this using Dynamic Text, but what i would like to know is how 2 make each submenu fade in when the picture menu button is clicked & then fade out when another menu button is clicked. i will provide an image of what im talkin abt soon 2 give u an idea!
I have looked at an example provided by an AS.org member, Vosgien http://www.actionscript.org/forums/showthread.php3?t=42197, but i could not follow the .fla file at all :confused:
i would please like 2 know how (or if u could point me in the direction of a tutorial) 2 achieve this!
