Movie going on strike when deleting scenes.

Hi,

I did my movie in Flash 8, then when I tried reducing the file size by transfering contents from 3 scenes into another one, and deleting the un-needed scenes, the movie won't behave when clicking on buttons, even if I click on buttons that are unrelated to the scenes in question.

Can anyone tell me why this could happen? And how to fix it?

BTW, I was able to delete ALL frames in the scene... So now I have 4 empty scenes

Okay, I just replied but lost my message along the way.

Oldnewbie: The movie has 4 empty scenes: Companypg2, Companypg3, Companypg4 & Readerpg2.

When I delete those empty scenes, and hit Ctrl+Enter, my movie gets out of wack (not going to the pages set up in the buttons). Yet with the scenes in there it does work.... But I'm not calling them from anywhere.

I'd gladly send u 2 files, but I don't know who the 2nd file is (I know, dummy me).

Well, I deleted the 4 scenes and the movie still looks working properly as it was?

Well, for a chage I feel the dumbest of them all. I went and took a 3 hour break (being that I stayed up overnight), came back, read your post, rebooted my computer, and now it works... Oh well, good thing I aint blonde.

What do you think about it, what's your opinion? I wish I could make those f*&$%(* pages transition smoothly but, they seem to not agree with me...

If it too ugly for a site?
