Backstage question

I have been trying to increase the size of my backstage area, and not having much luck. I looked through the properties/menu options, and I also attempted to select some items and move them right to force it to automatically increase, but that did not work either.

backstage? do you mean the stage?

Click anywhere on the grey background surrounding your stage. Open properties. There's a button that says SIZE and will state the size of your stage in it. Press the button and change the size.
