Okay so I have a new flash website that I made with the external text documents that load into the page on the click of a button. Well, I have the flash embedded into an html file (index) but when I click on the buttons, nothing happens. (Firefox) But when I go to the actual swf on the server, it works. Does it have something to do with it being embedded? EDIT: Fixed it. I had to embedd the fonts. but new problem! Only the first word shows up... like <b>Home</b> is all that shows up, nothing else....
Also, when I use IE to view the site, I have to hover over the entire flash and a box appear around it (like when you have an <a href><img src></a> type thing and you didnt remove the border) and the helpmessage that comes up is "click to activate and use this control", but then everything else works fine, even the external text thing.
I don't know what's wrong but... I need soem help. Thanks a lot.
