Hello all,
I finally completed my personal site to start applying for jobs.
Need feedback/criticism. Thanks.:)

Will,
Nice site, nicely drawn art. Problem -- none of the external links work! (to go to fun stuff, web log, etc.) Other than that, the only advice I have is more color. Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to see some nice subdued background color somewhere, so it doesn't all look so white!!
Cheers,

hi, thanks for the reply.
As I continue to test this, can you please provide me some info on what browser and platform you are viewing this on? Flash4 or 5 plugin?
So the buttons do not click out to the external browser? Any suggestions? I'm using a javasript code on the html page and a getURL function() in the flash button.
Hmm, boggles my mind.
THanks.

I just tried it again, but at work this time . . . it worked fine. I think I figured it out, though. I was running a pop-up ad killer at the time, and I didn't know that you were trying to open new windows. It tried to open the new window, and the pop-up killer killed it, so it threw an error.
Sorry for the inconvenience. :) Like I said, I think the background pictures are very well done, and the only thing I would suggest is a little more color in the interface

The first time I was using IE 6.0 on Win. ME. The second time it was also IE 6.0 but on Win. 2000. However, like I said, it was the third-party software (Zero Popup 1.38) that was causing the problem. What it does is not allow javascript to open any windows. Since what your site does is send a message to JavaScript to open the window, it didn't work. When I turn Zero Popup off, it works fine.

I like the humor in your site. Quite refreshing. Although it does bugs me a bit about the low quality images. For example, those bigger thumbnails in the portfolio sections, that got to be better quality. Also, the "Li" in Willaim Li title is a bit fuzzy, try doing that in vector if it's a bitmap.
very nice start.

Perhaps you can improve on the outlook of your preloader. Having your child photo as a loading bar is a good idea but it might not turn out nice. Perhaps stick to 'normal' bar or text preloads. Also, I've found that your site uses pracitcally the same font. That's very good. But I've found the 'extra' in your preloader (Times).
With regards to the main site, I should say its a nice attempt. Humourous and organised. Maybe u wanna work on the graphic quality...
The bottom line is... your site is pretty cool, except your 'not so cool' preloader. Keep it up!
