Hi all,

I have recently designed my very first flash website: http://www.thepixelexperience.net. Although I've zero experience with flash prior to this site, I have been able to pool on my prior experiece with programming in other languages to get this to work. Everything works fine and I'm sure there are quite a few behind the scenes things I could do to improve the size and cpu usage etc, but I'm very pleased with it.

Except for one major problem, it doesn't seem to work on my mates mac...!

I have tested it extensively on windows and a little on linux and everything seems fine. But my mac friend can't get it to work.

Are there any mac users out there that have had any similar problems with other sites? Is there a common pitfall I have fallen into? Since I don't have access to a mac to troubleshoot these problems I really don't know where to start.

He assures me he is using the latest version of the Flash player, and has tried it on Safari and Firefox... help!

Many thanks,
Oliver

I was troubleshooting my site and had the same error. I probably wouldn't have caught it if one of my fonts wasn't Microsoft sans serif. Macs probably don't have that one on the O/S automatically.
I converted all of my text to symbols to get rid of the fonts altogether. However, I did change a few other things, so that might not be the case. But worth a try.
Hope it works.
