I'm learning as and have been going through the tutorials for the beginner levels. When I had questions about getProperty/setProperty for someone who knows more than I do, they replied: "Yea, that's really out of date". Is it good to use these tutorials to have a foundation? Thanks! Cin

IMHO, following some of these tutorials using deprecated AS syntax (which usually still works anyways...), remains valuable... Once you've done them and understood them, changing some of the syntax for a more current one, will be easier...
