I think I will need some other programs to make my Flash movies better, but I don’t know of very many. I know that Swift 3d is really good for making 3d animations in Flash, but that is pretty much it. I read somewhere that Fireworks is good for making images go in and out of focus, but are there any other programs that can do the same? Also, I am in need of a way to get music and sound effects. Are there any programs where you can compose your own music and sound effects? If you could give me a list of good programs to go with Flash and a short explanation of each one, that would be great. Thanks!:)

you can compose your own music/sounds with Sonic Foundry's Acid 2.0 and edit existing audio files using SoundForge but Adobe Audition is great for both.

i seen people use Adobe After Effects to create video loops for effects like rollover effects or background animations; you can see some samples from these guys Flash Loaded (http://www.flashloaded.com/videoloops/videopack10/)

3DStudio Max had a plugin called Vecta3D that allowed to turn your 3D scenes and/or animation into 2D Vectors but i haven't used it in years so i'm not sure if its still kicking around.

I think you're going to have to be more specific about what you want out of the program.
Are you looking for a image editing kind of program, 3D, sound recording, what?

I could tell you some programs that I use whe I'm doing Flash stuff, but you probably couldn't run any of them, because I have a Mac.

So, it all really depends on what specifically you want to do with the program.

If you're looking for a good, free sound editing program, I reccomend Audacity.

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

Audacity is a free, open-source sound editing program. I use it alot.
