Hello everyone,

As you can see, this is my first post! I was hoping that somebody who knows Flash well on this forum can help me out!

I have a 6 minute long video that I made (Family Stuff) which has a resolution of 1209x641 (yes, that is large) and it is in .wmv

I wanto to make a Flash website and have this video on it. But I want it to be as large as possible.

1. Is there anyway to make the video so that it will Auto Adjust to a users web-browser size? or resolution? What is the best move I should make?

2. Also, Could somebody recoment to me how abouts I would go to importing this .wmv file into Macromedia Flash and get it edited? I will need a lot of help on thiss stuff

Any help will be appreciated

Well, I'm not sure if Flash will import a wmv, but it should.
You can either put it right in the Flash file, which would make it a pretty big file, or you can load it in.
If you load it in, it will dramatically lower the file size, making it easier for people to watch it.
To do that however, you need to use one of Flash's components, the Media Playback component, found in the components panel.
You can put that on the stage, and use the component inspector to tell it what file to play. Make sure that you don't use something like:
C:/My Documents/Flash/video.wmv
But use:
video.wmv
And make sure that the video and the flash file are in the same folder.

The problem with that is that some hosts don't support media files to be uploaded, so you may have to put it right in the flash file, but again, that will make the file big.

Let me know how you want/need to do this, and if your host supports wmv files to be uploaded.
