Not much to say...i like both of them...
The newer one animates a little choppy on my mac though.
Er sorry...in retrospect I meant really choppy.
and it's a dual 2.3 ghz G5
The new one is a really awesome concept. Totally original..which goes a long way...everything seemed to run pretty smooth for me...great work!

new concept is pretty much my favorite concept ive seen in a long time! very fresh and original. only problem is at work im on a mac and its REALLY choppy. I just tried it on a PC, and some script you have made the browser ask me if I would like to hault that script.
It apppears that you are definently using the Tween Class which is good. So I'm not sure what script you are using that is making it display so choppy.

Hey, thanks for the comments so far!
the beginning runs really slow on my mac too, I think it's just because it's moving so many tiles at the same time from different locations... it's running the movement function like 100 times almost simultaneously. So that's probably the reason.
I'm still toying around with wether i should finish it or go for something a little more "professional", hmm
the periodic table concept is awesome...but then again I am a chemist

i actually found it confusing, but i do like it better than the current one.

just separate the movement of the element tiles. it would look better anyway, to have them randomly being placed down really fast until they are all placed down. And it would be easier on the processor!
figure out a way to use AS to randomize the timing of the falling tiles, making sure only one or two falls at the same time.
i would say KEEP that concept, because its a beautiful concept!
