This is something that needs to be attended to. I wish I could help, but I'm looking for the exact same thing.

Is this possible?

And it's pretty much pointless to make a good fighting game w/o USB support. That's why I'm deciding on if I should continue or not.

Much thanks to the person that helps out.;)

whit an SWF there is no way at all

whit a 3th party "projector" tool it is eventualy possible

look for "zinc" and similair tools mayby they can do it
ceap in mind you will have an EXE no SWF !

Thanks. I just discovered that 3rd party is needed, last night. Someone referred me to Jugglor from FlashJester.

Then that means my fighting game is going into full effect. :)

GamePad 4 Flash 1.2 will let you play games with a joystick or other pad.

The trick is having the joystick push the buttons for you. Not flash doing what the joystick is doing.

Hey, that would be nice in Flash 9. Joystick support. Why didn't they think of that before...
