Hello everyone! I was wondering what you think of this site? I am fairly new to Flash design. I was wondering if you think the pages load to slow?

The best way to get around that slow loading of larger files is to code as much as possible. Dynamic masking and tween classes, in your case.

Yeah, there is still a LOT of stuff I need to learn! I am learning this all on my own so... you know how that goes. Can be a bit time consuming to learn it all, but I am doing my best and trying to make due with what I know at this point. ;)

Yes, it was very slow to load for me, especially since all that came up after the loading was a small slide show, a couple of graphics and links (media section)...another way to improve your download times is to compress everything as much as you can get away with. If you're using jpegs inside your movies, compress them first with photoshop 'save for web' feature, don't rely on the flash jpeg compression.

Very nice feeling site though, and great graphics.

Thank so much! I am glad I posted on here because it really makes me realize how amature I still am. Hahaha! Unfortunately I am skirting by on very minimal actionscript skills. Ugh. It's ok though. I am proud to be this far.

Anyway, I am glad you mentioned that I should not rely on Flash to compress the files too well because that's exactly what I was doing! I had it backwards then. I normally use the "Save for Web" when making my HTML only sites, but I wasn't doing that when importing them into Flash. I was afraid that Flash compression would make them look like garbage. I will have to try that out!

Thanks again!
