Im using flash 8. Made small animation of things floating in actionscript
I cant seem to export it to quicktime as it tells me to use flash 5 or lower..
Somone said you cannot export flash movies with AS code?
How am i supposed to view this outside of flash!?

When you have scripted movement/animations, it will not be visible on a movie because the movie is exported keyframes (those you can see on your timeline before the export).
Outside of flash, you can export as .swf and use that :)

Just like samuel said, you can only export keyframes to video from flash.
Some options are to bring your SWF into Director and use Director's export to quicktime. It will calculate each frame before sending it to video.
Alternatively, you could export a standalone projector and use a screen-capture program to grab each frame...but this is sometimes choppy and sometimes compresses frames before adding them to the video.
There might be other options that I'm not aware of.
