Hello,
First off this is my first time here and I really like what the site has to offer and there's a lot of usuful information here. So I would like to see if I could get help with a little problem that I have.
So to start, I have a file that has a bunch of FLV videos and SWF videos that I want to give to a friend at work. The files are IT training videos that I had got a while ago and I don't remeber who I got them from. The FLV's and SWF's mix together (i.e the first 3 vidoes are FLV's then there's an example video that's SWF, then it goes back to FLV's).
I wanted to try and make some sort of playlist for my friend, so this way all the videos will play one after the other until he stops it or pauses it, instead of him having to open each video one after the other. So far all the information I have found on Google is for people that want to stream a playlist on there website, but nothing for someone who would want to put it on a disc or dvd.
What I was hoping to accomplish was to make an HTML type file that would have one button that lead to the description of the classes he's going to watch (I had this info in a text file), a button that would lead to the classes, and from that menu a launch link that would play the course that he's currently in. I don't know if any of this makes sense, and I can try to explain it better if anyone needs me to.
As for me, I have Macromedia Studio MX on my computer and I have Cold Fusion (I got these at school for free, but never really used them). I'm not that good with programming (i.e. XML, .NET) but I have some knowledge. The only program I've used from Studio MX was Flash MX to make some cartoons (just simple stuff for a beginner class back in college) but nothing else. If anyone can help me out, or know's of some software that I can use that would be great. I don't have a website which is why I need to know if I can do this without a website or if I'm going to have to get a website just to do this.
Thanks and sorry for the long story, I just wanted to give as much information as possible.
