Hi,
Finally got our companies' new site up! http://www.e-smartz.com We'd love to get some feedback. We'd rather know now if it doesn't work, isn't liked, so please be as harsh as you feel like!
Cheers,
Tim

Nice...very smooth, love the logo transition & the line drawings in "Solutions"...how did u do those?! After Effects??
Some of the small aliased text is difficult to read against the lighter portions of the background.
All-in-all, great site, VERY clean...VERY easy-to-use...would like to see more of the RIAs (Hermes is sweet!), the rest of the samples are great!!
A few corrections, the "Korka" & "Uplink" 'Launch...' links launch "Shark" and the "Catapault" link launches "Checkov"
NICE!!!!
I really like the design and the transistion between the pages is real good but what bothers me most is the Gradient in the background. I think it should be softer. Maybe make it slightly transparent. It's competing with the content once loaded. Also get rid of the sharp edge on the bottom of the gradient so it blends into the bottom of the page more. besides that I really like it and think it is effective and compelling in a direct way. Oh ya, there's more. In my opinion anti alias or text is better then flash text. Flash text always looks amatuer. Does this remind you of WinVista at all?
Ha, just clicked the "Micrsoft 'Vista'" link on the labs page and the rollover label has a typo.

My designer would like to take issue with the gradient comment - fluffy fight at dawn!!
Seriously though thanks very much for take the time to have a look.
Typos are my bag thanks for pointing it out. One thing I'd like to say re: the Vista comment - We've only just got it and it is purely co-incence, honest!
Because we've gone for a modular build we've used dynamic text areas, to call in text and keep down file size, but I do agree Flash and fonts are not great bed fellows.
Something is going wrong with the launch buttons - I'll test them now.
RE: The shimmer effect - It's a new Flash 8 tool that allows filters to be applied at runtime. Extreamely cool, but beware putting too many on the stage at anyone time. When I was testing I managed to slow down my workstation down to a crawl!
Thanks again for taking the time,

Sorry m8 - I didn't mean we built it. It's the new bitmapData class and displacement map class. I'm using them both together with some perlin noise to get the natural effect.
I mean it's new to Flash 8 from MX Pro.
