hello frnds,

i am using actionscript 2.0 from past many years, but now one of my client wants me to put a simple link to one site on his button using actionscript 3.0

so frnds is their any special way to do so other than :: "getURL"

actually client will put that flash banner on some site and that site doesnot allow any external links (to any other website other than their own). And that website is saying that this is only possible if we will gie our link through actionscript 3.0

if anyone can tell me than i will be very thank full to him.

thnx in advance
gajender

you mean

import flash.net.URLRequest;
var url:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http://www.actionscript.org");

navigateToURL(url);

?

you only have to put the navigateToURL part in your button's action.

The class or interface 'flash.net.URLRequest' could not be loaded.
var url:URLRequest = new URLRequest("http://www.actionscript.org");
