Rollover madness

I'm sure this is a simple fix, I'm just coming up blank -
• The rollovers are "image maps" across a photograph (one background shot w/ all 7 people).

• I set the rollovers as invisible buttons laid over each person and they are approximately 75x140 pixels, but need to expand to include bio info on a 150x200 pixel area

• BUT I'm getting major layering problems, any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

You might have to "trim-out" your hit area of the button to match the exact contour of your people exspecially if they are very close together. It's difficult to say for sure without seeing what it is you are actually trying to do.

You're right that it's all in the Hit frame, so thanks for the suggestion to try and trim the hit states, I'll give it a shot and let you know later today how it went. Thanks!
