problem after publishing

i have an email link in my file:- mailto:"myemailaddress" in the "goto url". it works perfectly fine when i view it in ie or netscpae browser.

However if i were to export the swf into an EXE., i wouldn't be able to launch my email when i click on the link.

this problem also goes to opening external browser windows such as pop up windows if i run from the EXE file and not the html file.

can someone pls help me solve or explain to me why is that so?

well, the problem isn't with the *.exe. It's that the email should be configuered with your browser so the getURL will open the browser to search for the email link from there.
but the best way to avoid that is to make the contact button shows up your full email so that if the browser not conf. the user knows the email as well.
