Check out our new DEMA design portfolio site at address www.suonline.net/~dema
Very nice site....there is a bug in the music loop of track one.

slow as molasses and not very intuitive. i kept clicking on the actual items on the pad to no avail (which is how a palm application would actually work by the way).
I think the full screen causes problems on large monitors (probably why mine was so slow). Also you need a click through on that intro.
That web award looks pretty corny too. Messes up an otherwise nice page.

This site is most probably done by someone who doesn't say much attention to design. The idea of having a PDA as a menu component is pretty interesting... but is that suitable? I guessed the author of this site must have spent quite sometime to draw the palm and some other graphics. But time could be saved by using some 2D (Flat) graphics. They look better and more professional. Also, you might want to change your music. Find those loops that loops perfect. Cos' its quite irritating to hear a minute pause now and then. He/she will either waste your efforts in adding music by muting, or worse, surfs away.
But I can only say the plus thing about your site. Your attempt to use 3D rotating screens to showcase the portfolio is pretty cool. But you might want to adjust the frames per second rate? Its kindof laggy.
As a whole, not too bad... but need alot of improvement. Keep it up!

dejanp,
One word.....USABILITY...........where was it ???????????
This is the kind of site that annoys me, a site where unecessary flash confuses the user. I agree with 'tianyu84' when he said :
This site is most probably done by someone who doesn't pay much attention to design.
Simple things like, if you want to go up and down the menu, why have left and right arrows ? I found my self stuck a number of times. It was almost hard work to navigate the site.
Just a small thing, but i would make it a little more obvious to the user when they are looking at a pre-loader, not just a looping intro or something.
The 'enter' button on the splash page.....might be advisbale to change the font, was that Times New Roman ? Always best avoided, in my humble opinion.
I really, really liked the colors and concept of the site, please don't get me wrong, i was impressed - but the whole site was let down by, slow (ish) loading times, hard (but nice idea) navigation.
Just remember that people have to USE the site quickly and efficiantly. But it is good that the menu is never covered up or lost in anyway.
I also (very picky), yeah, i know you get paid to do these things and i don't, found the site strangly out of proportion, don't know whether it was the random words in the background, or the actual 'disply' box or what...but something did not seem right.
You might also want to consider separate pre-loaders for each section, so people only wait for what they want ! I'm stuck in one of the 24 hour puter rooms, so i don't have speakers - no comment on sound.
Nice site, even nicer concept
Hope this helped, Snapple :)

i don't know if you have fixed the music loops anyway here's a tip.
when you want to loop audio import the sound in the wav-format. all mp3 encoders i've used inserts silence in the end of the sound. this makes it unsuitable for loops. however if you import a wav-file and export it to mp3 through flash it will work fine.
the site looks ok, but the graphics are WAY too heavy. throw away all the gui bitmaps and replace 'em with nice and clean vector objects.
