Hi everyone. I am a total newbie to the whole dreamweaver / flash 8 thing. I have managed to create a basic website, however now that I've decided to do a bit of animation (nothing complex really, just a movie-type thing where multiple images fade in and out, replacing one another etc) I have come completely unstuck!! Is is really this difficult? Do I REALLY need to learn all the scripting etc etc? I found a program HOLO EFFECTS (EXPENSIVE!! ARGH!!) for which the trial was rather cool, but before I go ahead and buy it I have to ask - is it a neccessary evil?
Isn't there a simpler way?

I am but a muso, we cannot think in these clever scripting ways... it hurts my right-sided brain. I beg of you all - please help me!

welcome to the forums....a simple fade in, fade out, load another image type of script isnt overly difficult, but it isnt effortless either. Fortunately, if you search the forums, you'll find plenty of scripts people have worked out.

I bet there is tutorial somewhere with your name written all over it :)
With the tutorial it should be quite easy to create what you want.
