Just wondering if there's a way I can export my .fla file to a format that will play on a DVD in standard DVD players. All it is, is a montage (similar to a powerpoint montage) of pictures fading in and out to music.

If there are no runtime effects or actionscripts in the movie you can export the movie as an avi, wmv, mov or png sequence. Make sure to export at 640x480. tehn you can bring these clips into a DVD authoring program and burn to a DVD format of yuor choice. But there is no save as DVD option from within flash. You'll have to create a video file, then use another app to build the DVD.

export fla as swf and then use a special program - flash to video encoder pro (http://www.geovid.com/Flash_to_Video_Encoder_PRO). it will convert flash to dvd format and burn dvd. all in one click.
