View Full Version : Multiple SWF Files in Flash
Hi --
I apologize if I posted this question in the wrong place.
Could someone please let me know how to properly import and use multiple SWF files (there will be 10 total) in Flash8 Pro, so that the published swf file will show them one immediately after the other and then loop.
Thanks.

not sure if there is a better way or not but how i would do this is load each of them in a empty movie clip and turn visible to false...then create a variable that loops and use that to turn the visiblity on...something to that order...
Thanks --
How would the empty clips be positioned on the timeline?

you could position them anywhere you want, depending on what exactly they are doing....
will they have animation? are you going to use a certain amount or will there be of need of a unkown amount of MC's?
this will determine whiether or not ist is better to place it by hand or use the createEmptyMovieClip function.
There will always be a specific number of swf files, a total of ten. They are all animations (mostly text over graphics), and they are all the same size (800 x 600) to be shown as a continuos file on a dedicated computer monitor, like a series of individual ads.
