Dreamweaver MX2004 will not see anything that uses filters

Hi, up until using flash 8, I used to create my flash scenes in Flash MX2004, then import to Dreamweaver MX2004 then upload via ftp from there.

Now I'm using Flash 8, anything altered with filters, will not show up when I preview in Dreamweaver, any ideas, guy to a solution.

ps Is Flash 8 capable of uploading via ftp, thus bi-passing dreamweaver?
