How do you convert flash cartoons onto DVD?

Yea, title asks it all. How do you convert or more likely, burn, a swf or whatever to a DVD disk? Basically, I am thinking that once I make my series I will then burn the movie on DVD. How do you do it? Do you need a special program? Do you just simply write it to CD? Help me, braniacs!!!

export your swf as a movie:
file>export>exportMovie

If you want to be compatible with most dvd players you need an mpg or vob file. But flash doesn't export this file format.
I would suggest export it as quicktime (or avi) then use another video/compression format converter. For example xilisoft.
