A very impressive interface, well done. It's quite slow and jerky for me though (i'm running a powerbook G4 1.67).

The hanging portfolio is way too cluttered. Not a very ideal way to organize content when things are constantly changing shape on rollover and moving/blocking out other content. All of the projects are familiar to you, so you probably have no trouble at all navigating through it. For someone who wants to quickly browse through, however, it's a nightmare. How is one supposed to keep track of what he/she has seen when everything loops over again? If you must keep the hanging, at least give it definite stopping-borders that the user can see so that he/she can wrap a mind around it; so that they can keep relationships between each piece by remembering "oh, this one is just to the right of the last one which was two away from the far right edge" Maintaining those spatial relationships are key if you are simulating a 3d navigational system. The 10 row-and-2-column navigation with definite ends that you have within each portfolio piece is much easier to navigate. Go with that.

Clicking noise is annoying when text is flying up on screen.

The portfolio is way too cluttered. I like the design though, maybe more contrasting colors...too much blue. All in all..well done!
