pioneer75,

Nice idea, i liked the concept and the grpahics on it, but before i go any fruther, usability is extremely poor, in fact - i spent about 20 seconds on that site, because of the difficuluty of navigating the site.

The instructions on the bottom are just not enough to encourage the user to navigate the site.

You CANNOT expect the user to remember where the catagories are on that color pannel. Why would i want to mouse over randomly to find a catagory ? I felt lost.

The user must be able to find info quickly and efficiantly, you can keep the same concept, just make a few changes, such as :

1) Have an outline of the catagories, that light up, or are made bold when moused over.

2) Indicate which lines the catagories are held on.

I wanted to really like the site, i could imagine spending some time on there, it was nice - but let down so badly by the poor usability that it smothered an otherwise origional site.

Also, not too keen on the background shapes, on the main page.

Loading times were good for me, nice site, thanks for taking the time to read this.

well as soon as i loaded up ur splash page i was a bit stumped. ended up clicking on the macromedia link b4 i found how u entered the site. it lokked pretty kewl though. chameleon moved a little though and it didn't look like it was meant to.

k i've entered the site

like the concept of the colour panel for navigation but it don't work at the mo. also y would anyone navigate from there when they can navigate from the pop-up the are looking at.

i think the colour panel navigation ought to be built into the pop-up or scrapped.

said this many times as well. when u move pages in the pop-up everything disappears and then it loads a new page. i like the idea that u can make a smooth transition from 1 page to another with flash.

each page layout looks kewl to me, but i think u maybe oughta pick 1 style and use it for ur whole site. not have every page the same, but following along the same design lines????? i prefered the portfolio page look over all the others .

also hard to see the scrollerbar when ur in main. i came across it by accident.

anyhowz, peeps who have worked with flash will know the amount of work thats gone into the site. i think it has the potential to be pushed further.

good work!

Thank you for your serious opnion.
Everyone`s design philosophy is completely different though, but I positively accept that.

Thanx

Bleeda,

Thank you for your opnion, too.

I believe the most complex matter to build website is tech stuff for me, because I maily focused on design.

it is my personal homepage so I wanted to create various design form, otherwise I wouldn`t go for it. I expected it might be confused to navigate my site, but I did it my own way. :)
Your feedback is very logical indeed...anyway it helps me...

Thanx

hello,
i noticed your "moving" chameleon someone else noticed. it looks like what i can a "bitmap wiggle" and is an annoying a flash quirk that used to cause me many a headache!

i've found the best way to avoid this wiggle is to edit the relevant symbol and make sure the registration point of the bitmap is x.2 and y.2 rather than a whole number (integer). the symbol itself can be registered at a whole number pixel but *within* the symbol make sure the registration point is, for example x=102.2 y=12.2 rather than x=102.0 y=12.0

give it a go!
