Hi guys and gals,

My friend is working on a project for Staples Business Depot (you'll know of them if you're canadian). It is a full screen SWF that will be opened on all laptop computers in the store. It is going to be used to stop people from playing with the computer without the assistance of a store clerk. The only thing he needs now is to disable the keyboard (if possible) so that not just any person can close the flash. BUT when a store employee hits two or thee buttons (ex. ctrl+E) it will minimize or close, or enable the keyboard.

Any ideas ? Is this even possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, he's been working on this problem for a while now.
Thanks

I don't think you can do that...
You do need some other low level language that can actually trap the keyboard input and Flash is not one of them...
I remember playing with the DOS utility that does lock the keyboard and such... Maybe you can google for such thing...

You could also take a look at the third party projector tools such as Zince or mProjector, but I don't know if they support such feature...

Go check them out and let us know what you find out... ;)

Thanks alot cyanblue,
I'll make sure to take a look and see what I can do.
At least I won't have to keep racking my brain over flash now.
