making my movie clip to the border

i am making a simple movie and was wondering how to make your movie only show the stuff in the white area. (know what im talking about) i am an extreme newbi so plz explain in detail...

sory if i wasnt clear, (plz email me and i will send you my movie) i have included a picture of my movie with a border around the white workspace in my movie. notice that you can see the circle outside of the border, i dont want to see the part of the circle that goes out. is that possible?

PS if you are publishing for the web download the "center Flash in browser" extension from macromedia.com - this sets your margins to 0 and hides whats off the stage
