Hi everyone!
Finally finished my dissertation research area - its all done in flash
(except the chat room which was a bit tricky for me to hook up
to flash). It's about Viral Marketing and i'd love it if some of you
would drop by to check it out and maybe contribute to it!
Have fun!

elastik,
I am not sure what you want commented on i.e. the asthetics/flash of the site or the dynamic 'mechnics' of the site, so i'll do a bit of both.
Firstly i think that the site could be improved massively, just throgh the appearance alone. I mean, you say it's for your dissertation, so if i were you i'd make it look a little proffesional. I am not saying its a bad site, but you might want to consider getting rid of the 'cartoony' type text, the fun-colord lines and the 'home-made' black background.
Remember your using that site to communicate information, statistics and data. So make usability and oraganisation of structure of the site your number one priority.
I mean over all, the site works, its nice - it functions well, when i fisrt opend up the url, it was a total contradiction, it looked like a fun 'personal site' - not a site about viral marketing.
Also, i would ask the question...why is it done in flash ? (You could answer that how i do...."because i'm sh.it at programming")
But what i am trying to say is, liven things up a bit.
It is a good site and it is apparent to me that your pretty clued up on flash, which is why it is a shame that you let it down slightly by choosing a certain style in which to present the site.
The laoding times were good ofr me and everything ran smoothly (i did not go ALL round the site).
Oh, before i forget, try to display you stat's on your questionare section more clearly - put a table in or some sort of structured boarder.
So, just a few changes, other than that, i was impressed....chat room eh ? Not bad ! - Just give the proffessional once over and your there.
Hope this was of some use

The main downfall is that viral marketing elements succeed because the datacapture/message is piggybacked usually on top of something totally innocuous, like the famous Granny-Great Dane flick that Honda sent out. The real idea is to try and create a phenomenon that will spread with a marketing ploy hidden inside. this won't succeed as a viral element because it's only going to appeal to marketers and your just going to get a vertical opinion. You need a device to carry the message. Singing Hamsters anything!

Thanx Snapple + Vilehelm for checkin out the site for me. Your comments
were really cool!
The design i didn't have time to work on that much but yeah i think the
usability is a factor.
Your right too about needing a devise to carry the message - i'll have to get
thinking....
