2 or 3 movies within another

i am making a large movie and to simplify the drawing process i would like to make 2 or 3 movies instad and at the end of one, start the other

i realize that i am not being very clear and i apoligise, i will try to explain in more detail. here goes. i have a large movie that i am making, in order to make the process of making less tedious i wish to break it into 2 or seperate movies. i need to know how to attach (link?) another movie to the end of the first. for example: at the end of my first move (frame 350) than my movie plays anothe movie starting at frame 1 and at the end of that movie (frame 150) the third movie plays, starting at frame 1. i hope that u understand now :(

aight bud

make 3 new mc's. in each mc put ur animation split into 3 sections as u explained.

then on the main timeline make 3 layers.

put mc1 on a layer and have it on the timeline from frame 0 to frame 350.

put mc2 on another layer and have it active on the timeline from frame 351 to frame 501.

put mc3 on another layer and have it active on the main timeline from frame 502.

thats it.

an alternate and tidier way of doing it would be to put:

mc1 on frame 1 with a stop action. then inside mc1 on the final frame tell the _root timeline to gotoAndStop (2);

mc 2 will be on frame 2 with a stop action. them inside mc2 on the final frame tell _root to gotoAndStop (3);

mc3 will be on frame 3 with a stop action and it will play. inside this mc put a stop actions on the final frame.
